Position overview
The territory manager serves as both a strategic leader and hands-on sales professional responsible for regional growth, customer relationships, sales team development, and commercial execution.
Key responsibilities
- Develop and execute regional sales strategies
- Review market trends and communicate opportunities
- Build and maintain key customer relationships
- Review major bids, contracts, and pricing initiatives
- Ensure CRM accuracy and reporting compliance
- Prepare budgets, forecasts, and monthly sales reports
Preferred qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, chemistry, engineering, or related field
- 10+ years of industrial or chemical sales experience
- Sales management experience
- Water treatment, bleach, caustic, or compressed gas experience
- Excellent communication and leadership skills
Travel requirements
- Up to 90% travel, including overnight travel.
- Candidate must regularly visit the Omaha manufacturing facility.
