• Collaborate with software designers and/or software engineers in the planning, design, development, and utilization of software systems.
• Regularly demonstrate progress to customers.

• A high school diploma with a minimum of 12 years of software development experience.
• A bachelor’s in science degree in a STEM field with a minimum of 8 years of software development experience.
• A master’s in science degree in a STEM field with 6 years of software development experience.
• Experience with object‑oriented programming, web development frameworks, and full stack application architectures.
• Proven experience with Linux OS.
• Familiarity with relational database management systems (Oracle/PDBs) and SQL.
• Working knowledge of Agile development processes.
• Familiarity with test automation practices and tools (Integration testing, Unit testing, QFTest).
• Strong interpersonal skills to communicate effectively with small technical teams.
• Ability to prioritize and adjust tasks to accomplish project results.
• Ability to obtain/maintain access to work full time on‑site in Bellevue, NE.
• Ability to obtain a DoD Secret Clearance.

• Experience working in Agile software development environment.
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code:
  • Container Management Platforms such as RKE2, AWS, Open Shift, etc.
  • Automation technologies such as Ansible, Helm, etc.
  • Virtualization platforms such as VMWare, Proxmox, etc.
• Experience with Dev Sec Ops :
  • Implementing and maintaining CI/CD software pipelines.
  • Automating the securing and hardening software products.
  • Enabling operations and maintenance activities with Infrastructure as Code.
  • Creating solutions that encourage Dev‑Prod parity.
• Software Security Tools:
  • Sonar Qube.
• Demonstrated use of Integrated Development Environments (IDEs) and configuration management (Bit Bucket).
• Demonstrated use of collaboration tool suites (Atlassian, Git Lab).
• Ability to obtain a U.S. Department of Defense (DoD) Top Secret security clearance.

Primary Level Salary Range: $ – $. The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate’s experience, education, skills and current market conditions. Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay.

Annual bonuses reward individual contributions and allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
