Tax Manager

Job Overview

Tax Manager with one of the top CPA firms in the Seattle area. Salary range: $130,000 – $170,000 per year. Located in Bellevue, WA. The position is hosted by Sean Copeland.

• Manage and oversee complex client engagements, including tax planning, compliance, and consulting services.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients and provide expert tax advice.
• Review tax returns and work papers prepared by staff and provide guidance and feedback.
• Conduct tax research and analysis to ensure compliance with federal, state, and local tax laws and regulations.
• Identify and implement tax planning strategies to minimize tax liabilities and maximize tax benefits for clients.
• Communicate effectively with clients, staff, and other professionals to ensure timely and accurate completion of client engagements.
• Stay up-to-date on changes in tax laws and regulations and communicate these changes to clients and staff.
• Supervise and mentor staff members to support their professional development and growth.

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or a related field.
• CPA certification required.
• 5+ years of experience in public accounting, with a focus on tax.
• Strong technical knowledge of federal, state, and local tax laws and regulations.
• Experience managing complex client engagements and providing expert tax advice.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
