• Lead business accounting engagements to ensure quality, accuracy, and timely delivery of work products.
• Serve as a trusted technical resource, applying advanced accounting and tax knowledge to resolve challenges and guide decision‑making.
• Strengthen internal processes and contribute to leadership initiatives for continuous improvement.

• Perform and oversee client accounting matters, month‑end and year‑end close processes, payroll, and business reporting.
• Prepare and review financial statements, reconciliations, and support schedules for completeness and compliance.
• Support the preparation of individual and business tax returns across various entity types.
• Lead GAAP and tax research and apply findings to client‑specific situations.

• Act as a primary accounting advisor for business clients, addressing questions and issues.
• Identify risks, opportunities, and process improvements that benefit client operations and financial outcomes.
• Communicate accounting and tax matters clearly and professionally.

• Provide technical guidance, coaching, and mentorship to strengthen team capabilities.
• Ensure adherence to firm standards, policies, and deadlines.
• Assist with onboarding and training of new team members.

• Identify opportunities to streamline accounting workflows for greater efficiency and accuracy.
• Develop documentation, standardized procedures, and best practices.
• Support leadership on special projects and firm‑wide initiatives.

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or a related field.

• 5+ years of progressive accounting experience with increasing responsibility.

• Strong, up‑to‑date technical knowledge of accounting principles and tax regulations.
• Advanced proficiency with accounting and tax software, and the ability to learn new platforms quickly.

• Excellent judgment, analytical thinking, and problem‑solving skills.
• High level of ownership, accountability, and attention to detail.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey complex concepts clearly.
