Bookkeeper

Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM (flexibility of +/- 30 minutes)

Pay: $32-$36

We're partnering with a well-respected nonprofit organization in Bellevue to identify a Senior Accountant for a paternity leave coverage assignment. With an annual operating budget of approximately $14 million, this organization is known for its collaborative culture, commitment to DEI, and supportive work environment. This role will play a key role in maintaining day-to-day accounting operations, financial reporting, and reconciliations.

• Perform full-cycle accounting duties including general ledger maintenance and journal entries
• Prepare financial reports and assist with monthly reporting activities
• Manage cash receipts and bank reconciliations
• Support accounts payable and accounts receivable processes
• Assist with payroll-related accounting activities
• Maintain accurate accounting records and support month‑end close
• Process and reconcile fundraising and donation activity
• Support tuition accounting and enrollment‑related transactions
• Assist with special projects and other accounting functions as needed

• Strong understanding of full-cycle accounting, debits/credits, and general ledger accounting
• Experience preparing financial reports and reconciliations
• Background in accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment

• Nonprofit accounting experience
• Familiarity with systems such as Blackbaud, Avid Xchange, or similar accounting platforms
