Revenue Accountant

Location: Bellevue, WA (Hybrid)

Salary: $124,000 - $145,000 DOE

Key Responsibilities for the Revenue Accountant:

  • Review customer contracts, amendments, SOWs, purchase orders, and reseller agreements for proper revenue recognition treatment under ASC 606

    • Analyze performance obligations, service periods, contract modifications, and variable consideration

    • Manage month-end revenue activities, including revenue recognition, deferred revenue, unbilled AR, deposits, and reconciliations

    • Review revenue and billing schedules in Workday and investigate variances and system issues

    • Prepare reconciliations, accounting analyses, audit support schedules, and revenue documentation

    • Partner with Sales, Legal, Service Delivery, and Finance teams to resolve accounting and contract-related matters

Qualifications for the Revenue Accountant:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field

    • Strong knowledge of ASC 606 revenue recognition standards

    • Experience reviewing and interpreting customer contracts and revenue agreements

    • Experience with month-end close, reconciliations, and revenue accounting processes

    • Workday experience preferred
