What

You’ll Do

The Staff Accountant supports accounting and tax functions across a variety of client engagements while developing a strong technical foundation in financial reporting, tax compliance, and client service. This role works closely with senior team members to ensureaccuratefinancial records,timely completion of accounting activities, and quality service delivery. The Staff Accountant is ideal for an early-career professional seeking broad exposure and professional growth within a public accounting environment.

  • Prepare and post routine journal entries to the general ledger.
  • Perform monthly bank reconciliations and balance sheet account reconciliations.
  • Assist with month-end and year-end close procedures and related accounting activities.
  • Maintainaccuratefinancial records and supporting documentation.
  • Support accounts payable and accounts receivable processes as needed.
  • Assistin the preparation of financial statements, reports, andsupportingschedules.
  • Assist with the preparation of individual, partnership, corporate, and other business tax returns.
  • Gather, organize, andvalidatefinancial data and documentationrequiredfor tax compliance activities.
  • Support tax research projects and compliance initiatives under the guidance of senior team members.
  • Assist with responses to tax notices, audit requests, and other regulatory inquiries.
  • Collaborate with Accountants and Senior Accountants on client engagements and special projects.
  • Communicate effectively with internal team members to ensure deadlines and client expectations are met.
  • Continue developing technical accounting and tax knowledge through hands‑on experience, training, and professional development opportunities.
  • Support process improvement efforts and contribute tomaintainingefficient workflows and high-quality client service
