Scheduling Coordinator - On Site
The Scheduling Coordinator is responsible for effectively scheduling interpreters for various interpretation appointments, ensuring timely, accurate, and efficient assignment management.
Key Responsibilities:- Coordinate and schedule interpreter appointments based on language needs, interpreter availability, and client requirements.
- Confirm appointments with both interpreters and clients to ensure clarity and reduce cancellations or no-shows.
- Manage and resolve scheduling conflicts promptly and professionally.
- Maintain an updated and accurate scheduling calendar.
- Communicate regularly with interpreters and clients regarding changes, cancellations, or adjustments to scheduled appointments.
- Document all scheduling interactions and updates in relevant systems.
- Collaborate with customer service and interpreter management teams to address urgent scheduling requests.
- Support continuous improvement efforts for scheduling efficiency and effectiveness.
- High school diploma or equivalent required;
Associate's degree or relevant certification preferred. - 1–2 years of scheduling, administrative, or customer service experience.
- Exceptional organizational and time-management skills.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Proficiency in scheduling software and Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, Word).
- Ability to multitask, prioritize effectively, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Demonstrated professionalism and problem-solving capabilities.
Skills:
- Previous experience working with interpreters or language services.
- Familiarity with interpretation scheduling tools or management systems.
- Full-time, 40-hour per week position; typically Monday–Friday, with flexibility required based on client needs.
- On-site position at Bellevue, WA corporate office; remote work is not permitted.
- Occasional after-hours or weekend support may be required to handle urgent scheduling matters.
- Candidates must pass a 10-panel drug/alcohol screening and a national criminal background check.
- Competitive hourly rate, commensurate with experience, from $22 to $25/hour
