Lube Technician

Dealership: L0436 Michael's Toyota of Bellevue

We are hiring Entry Level Automotive Technicians to join our busy service team in Bellevue, WA. This onsite role reports to the Service Manager and requires a rotating schedule that includes some Saturdays.

• Basic mechanical understanding of an automobile.
• Experience as an express/quick lube technician is preferred but not required.
• Ability to operate light trucks, vans, and vehicles with manual or automatic transmissions.
• Team player focused on outstanding customer service.
• Valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record.

• Perform work on repair orders with efficiency and accuracy, following Lithia and manufacturer standards.
• Diagnose the cause of malfunction.
• Complete all work according to applicable safety requirements.
• Road‑test vehicles to ensure quality of repair work.
• Record time spent on repairs using company time‑clocking procedures.
• Document work performed on repair orders and test procedures/results.
• Maintain an inventory of standard mechanical tools and return special tools to their proper place.
• Maintain an organized and clean workspace, completing a stall cleaning daily.
• Ensure vehicles are returned clean to customers.
• Complete all required training and acquire/maintain manufacturer and ASE certifications.
• Participate in assigned technical training and review technical bulletins and publications.
• Communicate constructively with dealership personnel to satisfy customer needs.
• Report any situation or condition jeopardizing safety, welfare, or integrity of the dealership.
• Maintain personal grooming, hygiene, and uniform standards.
• Adhere to scheduled arrival, break, and departure times.

Actual pay offered will be based on qualifications and location. The pay range is $19–$21 per flagged hour, with eligibility for short‑term and long‑term incentives.

Flat‑rate pay range for this role is $19–$21 per flagged hour. The position is eligible for short‑term and/or long‑term incentives as part of total compensation.

High school graduate or equivalent, 18 or older required. We are a drug‑free workplace.
