We are seeking an experienced Business Development Representative to join our dynamic team in the recruitment app space. This role is ideal for a driven professional with a proven track record in account management, sales, and client onboarding within the tech industry. As a BDR, you will source leads, do cold outreach, attend events, and help the Sales team to onboard new users, and drive growth.
Your expertise will be key to expanding our user base.
- Identify and research prospective clients through market analysis, competitor research, and industry trends
- Generate and qualify leads using outbound strategies, including cold calling, targeted emailing, and networking at industry events
- Develop and nurture relationships with key decision-makers at target companies
- Collaborate closely with the sales and marketing teams to create and execute prospecting campaigns and strategies
- Schedule and book meetings for account executives, ensuring a robust pipeline of qualified opportunities
- Maintain accurate records of outreach activities, lead status, and client interactions in CRM systems
- Stay up-to-date on product developments and industry trends to effectively communicate value propositions to prospects
- Represent the company at local events, conferences, and meetups to expand our network within the Bellevue tech ecosystem
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or a related field
- 1–3 years of experience in business development, sales, or a related field, preferably in the tech industry
- Demonstrated success in prospecting, lead generation, and relationship building
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills; able to convey complex technical concepts in a clear and compelling manner
- Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet quotas
- Technical aptitude and an interest in technology solutions; prior experience with tech apps or SaaS products is a plus
- Self-starter mentality with a results-driven approach and a passion for growing new business
- Familiarity with CRM tools and sales enablement platforms
