How you will make a difference:The Proposal Specialist has a high degree of corporate visibility working with all areas of HMA's organization. As a key member of the Sales Operations Team, you will handle Requests for Proposals (RFPs), requesting claims and pharmacy repricing requests as well as other critical components as part of the RFP, and assist with additional tasks as assigned in support of the Sales Executives and Sales Operations Team.
Our fast‑paced environment and dynamic team contribute to relationship building both internally and externally, improving the probability of winning new clients.
- Monitor Proposal inbox and input data into Sales forces and Trello.
- Draft Proposals for review and audit by a peer.
- Request components of the RPF including Geo Access Reports, Claim Repricing, Pharmacy Repricing, and Disruption Analysis.
- Compile Disruption Analysis network comparison for review and audit by a peer.
- Assist in updating the Questionnaire database.
- Coordinate and support prospect questionnaire responses, with leadership and sales assistance.
- Provide backup support for shopping of stop loss for Sales and Client Success.
- Collect, organize, and submit monthly sales reporting information to the appropriate parties.
- Work with Sales Operations team to maintain and update templates.
- Update Process Work Instructions (PWIs) for functions completed by the role.
- Assist the Sales and Marketing team with special projects.
- Administrative support: swag requests, expense reports, catering requests and meeting management.
- Complete other duties as assigned.
- High school diploma or equivalent experience required.
- 1‑3+ years customer service experience.
- 1+ years of experience writing, adjusting, and presenting Request for Proposals (RFPs).
- Successfully worked in cross‑functional teams.
- Results driven, detail oriented and highly organized.
- Facilitation skills for internal meetings.
- Excellent data entry and analytical skills.
- Computer skills with knowledge of MS Office Suite products, Smart Sheet, Salesforce, and Microsoft Dynamics.
- Expertise in building and maintaining business relationships.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
The base salary for this position in the greater Seattle area is $83,000‑99,000 and varies dependent on geography, skills, experience, education, and other job or market‑related factors. Performance‑based incentive bonus(es) is available. Disclaimer:
