Business Operations Analyst, Marketing and Media VP Office

As the Marketing and Media organization continues to grow, we are at a point where we need dedicated operational and analytical support to help institutionalize and scale how the organization plans, budgets, and executes. We have created a Business Operations Analyst role within the Marketing and Media VP Office to support core planning and budgeting processes, perform applied analyses to inform leadership discussions, and ensure that key operating mechanisms run smoothly and consistently.

This role combines hands on analytical work with day-to-day operational ownership, enabling informed decision making and high quality execution across the Marketing and Media organization. You'll join a team of people (aka Producers of Pokmon) who are passionate for Pokmon and play a key role in creating a great employee experience or #lifeatTPCI.

What You'll Do
  • Own, maintain, and help evolve core operational and analytical tools that support Marketing and Media planning, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting processes.
  • Perform hands-on analysis using Excel-based models to aggregate, calculate, and interpret data from multiple sources, including budgets, financial inputs, resourcing data, and other internal datasets.
  • Develop and maintain structured models, trackers, and automation (including more advanced Excel logic or scripts where applicable) that enable leadership to evaluate scenarios and trade-offs.
  • Analyze data to support planning cycles, quarterly business reviews (QBRs), goal-setting, and ongoing performance discussions, synthesizing outputs into clear takeaways for leadership review.
  • Prepare leadership-ready summaries and materials that translate analytical outputs into concise, decision-oriented narratives.
  • Support presentation development by creating and maintaining standardized templates, consolidating materials, and ensuring content quality and correctness.
  • Partner with cross-functional stakeholders to help coordinate leadership meetings, offsites, conferences, and other recurring organizational forums, including related logistics.
  • Serve as a reliable operational point of contact for the Marketing and Media VP Office, helping ensure that processes, timelines, and deliverables stay on track.
  • Handle highly confidential and/or sensitive matters with discretion, professionalism, and sound judgment.
  • Provide in-office operational support to the Marketing and Media VP Office and perform related duties as assigned.
What You'll Bring

  • 5 or more years of work experience, including experience in analytical, operational, or planning-related roles.
  • Japanese language proficiency (e.g., Japanese Language Proficiency Test Level 1+), including the ability to navigate cultural context when working with Japanese external stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated willingness to take a hands‑on, roll‑up‑your‑sleeves approach, contributing wherever needed to ensure operational processes and leadership priorities are executed effectively.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to work comfortably with Excel-based models, structured datasets, and recurring reporting cycles.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
  • Experience performing applied analysis in support of business or operational decisions, with attention to accuracy and context.
  • High degree of attention to detail and commitment to quality.
  • Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and operate effectively in an environment with evolving inputs and timelines.
