Overview

AIM Consulting is an industry leader in technology consulting services. Our Seattle office is hiring highly motivated Sales professionals with experience selling technology consulting services. This position will require extensive hands‑on business development experience to generate new business, bring in new logos, and deepen relationships with current and prospective clients. This is an internal, full‑time role at AIM Consulting.

This role requires building and growing relationships with key decision‑makers and executive‑level leaders throughout AIM’s prospective enterprise clients. You will need a strong client‑first perspective in which you deeply understand your client’s organization, their strategic vision and roadmap, their pain points and gaps, and the ability to identify opportunities for AIM to provide solutions to your customer across our full suite of capabilities and solutions.

You will need a consultative selling approach and the ability to demonstrate a clear understanding of strategic business development coupled with disciplined execution tactics.

  • Build strong, trust‑based relationships with client stakeholders across product, engineering, digital, operations, marketing, and executive leadership teams.
  • Understand client’s business strategy, competitive landscape, and technology roadmap to position AIM’s capabilities:
  • Develop and adhere to a business development plan for targeting new business
  • Partner closely with Consulting Leadership through the full Sales and Project Delivery life cycles
  • Ability to present differentiated positioning to all levels of client stakeholders and influencers
  • Complete all aspects of the business development cycle including prospecting/cold calls, relationship development, discovery, assisting in proposal creation, presentations, contract negotiation, and relationship maintenance including Quarterly Business Insights meetings
  • Engage alliance partners (i.e., AWS, Azure, GCP) to develop go‑to‑market strategies
  • Utilize a CRM (Salesforce) in a professional, disciplined, accurate, and timely manner
Qualifications
  • Minimum of 7 years of sales and business development experience
  • Minimum of 4 years of experience selling technology consulting services into enterprise level accounts and breaking new accounts
  • Proven capability in developing business for delivery of cloud, digital, and/or data‑based consulting services
  • Must be able to identify key decision‑makers within organizations, present a clear, concise case for the value of professional services and close business through superior customer service
  • Must be able to develop strong relationships with all levels of client leadership and confident negotiating terms of business in large‑scale organizations
  • Must be willing and able to meet with clients at client sites, offsites, or after‑hours events
  • Local to the Greater Seattle Area and able to commit to hybrid in‑office model 3 days per week in our Bellevue corporate office
  • BA/BS in Information Management or Systems, Business, Management or related field
