Sales Support Specialist

Primary Purpose

The primary purpose of the Sales Support Specialist is to support the sales process by owning non-essential sales tasks and maintaining customer account information. This role acts as a direct resource for customers and internal sales professionals, providing real-time support and solutions.

• Responsible for setting up new customer accounts, ensuring all necessary information is accurately recorded
• Handles quote requests from customers, providing timely and accurate pricing information
• Resolves issues related to customer orders, ensuring smooth processing and delivery
• Identifies and addresses any holds on order acceptance, working to resolve them promptly
• Maintains detailed records of all interactions with customers, ensuring information is up-to-date and accessible
• Contacts customers that are identified as “At Risk” in the CRM, quickly determining next steps needed to reduce churn
• Gains additional information regarding product application and understands on/off track business and additional customer insights as needed
• Updates forecasts and advises sellers if further follow up is required
• Cleans up the total opportunity count and reviews and adds forecast data where possible
• Sells irregular inactive inventory material where possible
• Addresses customer inquiries and complaints as needed
• Performs other related duties as required or requested

• Bachelor’s degree from a fully accredited four‑year institution or equivalent work experience
• Experience in a Business‑to‑Business (B2B) service organization or 1+ years’ experience in equivalent job(s) (preferred)
• Knowledge and experience working with MS Office Suite, with strong Excel skills
• Demonstrates sound judgment and creative problem solving
• Open to taking moderate risks with a competitive spirit

• Strong work ethic and team‑oriented mindset

This is a hybrid role in Bellevue, WA

• Salary range: $57,350 – $71,690 annually
• Specific salary may be influenced by relevant experience, education, training, certifications, qualifications, and work location
