Nuclear Siting Project Manager – Natrium Technology

• Program Coordination
  • Lead the integrated siting program for Natrium projects, coordinating across Terra Power departments and ensuring schedule, budget and deliverable alignment.
• Site Characterization
  • Oversee scope and schedule development for project site characterization (geology, hydrology, seismology).
• Cross‑Functional Integration
  • Coordinate input from internal subject matter experts and external consultants across environmental, geotechnical, regulatory and land acquisition specialties.
• Regulatory Alignment
  • Support Regulatory Affairs and Licensing Department with documentation for NRC early site permits and other federal/state approvals; ensure compliance with nuclear and environmental regulations.
• Stakeholder Coordination
  • Collaborate closely with government entities, utilities, local and community stakeholders to facilitate transparent communication and long‑term partnerships.
• Develop & maintain risk registers, decision matrices and tracking tools for executive‑level site selection decisions.
• Reporting & Documentation
  • Prepare regular program reports, briefings and presentations for leadership, partners and regulatory bodies.

• Required
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Environmental Science, Project Management or related field.
  • Minimum 8+ years of relevant experience in nuclear projects (construction or operations), energy infrastructure or large‑scale industrial siting and permitting.
  • Proven project management experience coordinating multidisciplinary teams.
  • Familiarity with NRC siting criteria (10 CFR Part 100), NEPA and state‑level environmental permitting.
  • Excellent organizational, communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
  • In‑depth understanding of nuclear safety regulations and/or environmental standards (e.g., NRC, NEPA).
• Preferred
  • Master’s degree in a technical or management discipline.
  • PMP or similar project management certification.
  • Experience with advanced reactor technologies or DOE/NRC programs.
  • Prior experience working with utilities or public‑private energy partnerships.

• Motor abilities: sitting for extended periods, bending/stooping, grasping/gripping, fine motor control.
• Physical exertion: minimal; ability to lift up to 25 lb.
• Special senses: visual and audio focused work.
• Work conditions: stairs, typing/keyboard, standard sitting environment >8 hrs/day.
• Travel: 0‑10 %.

Salary Range: $117,922 – $176,833 (Washington State). Typically offers placed in the lower to middle portion.
