Director of Business Development

As a Director of Business Development, you will manage public relations for the branch through events, networking, and various other means while complying with state, federal, industry, and organizational guidelines.

• Build partnerships with external agencies, establishments and departments that implement information programs and events.
• Identify main client groups and audiences, determine the best way to communicate publicity information to them, and develop and implement a communication plan.
• Lead the monthly production meeting.
• Collaborate with the Branch marketing team to develop and maintain the company’s corporate image and identity, which includes the use of logos and signage.
• Establish and maintain effective working relationships with clients, government officials, and media representatives and use these relationships to develop new business opportunities.
• Inform veterans of the VA home loan benefit through various community engagement efforts such as lunch and learns, seminars, and attending realtor/third party events.
• Actively contribute to making the team and culture stronger by assisting with other duties as needed.

• NMLS licensed or become licensed upon employment
