Amazon is seeking a Senior Program Manager to drive strategic initiatives and complex, cross‑functional programs that directly impact our customers and business. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of delivering results in ambiguous environments, influencing without authority, and driving operational excellence at scale.
As a Senior Program Manager:- Own end‑to‑end program delivery, working with senior leaders across multiple organizations to define strategy, set goals, and execute against ambitious timelines.
- Identify and solve complex problems, drive process improvements, and ensure programs deliver measurable business impact.
- Own and drive complex, cross‑functional programs from conception through delivery, ensuring alignment with business objectives and customer needs.
- Partner with senior leadership across multiple organizations to define program strategy, goals, and success metrics.
- Develop and maintain detailed program plans, including timelines, milestones, dependencies, and risk mitigation strategies.
- Identify and resolve blockers, escalating appropriately to ensure program momentum.
- Drive operational excellence through process improvement, automation, and standardization.
- Communicate program status, risks, and decisions to stakeholders at all levels, including senior leadership.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with cross‑functional partners, influencing without direct authority.
- Define and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure program success and business impact.
- Mentor and develop junior program managers, raising the bar for program management excellence.
- Drive mechanisms that scale, ensuring programs can grow efficiently as the business expands.

Basic Qualifications- 5+ years of program or project management experience
- Experience using data and metrics to determine and drive improvements
- Experience owning program strategy, end‑to‑end delivery, and communicating results to senior leadership
- 2+ years of driving process improvements experience
- Master's degree, or MBA in business, operations, human resources, adult education, organizational development, instructional design or related field
