Event Planner - Financial Services

Job Summary

A well-established professional services organization in Bellevue, WA is hiring a Direct Hire Event Planner - Financial Services to lead the planning and execution of client-facing events, educational seminars, and special programs. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced event professional who enjoys creating polished, high-impact experiences that support client engagement and business development. The ideal candidate will be highly organized, resourceful, and comfortable managing multiple events, vendors, budgets, and internal stakeholders in a fast-paced professional services setting.

• Plan, coordinate, and execute client-facing events, educational seminars, and special programs from concept through completion.
• Manage event logistics, including venue selection, catering, entertainment, registration, guest experience, setup, execution, and breakdown.
• Source, negotiate, and manage vendor relationships with venues, caterers, speakers, and event service providers.
• Develop and manage event budgets, track expenses, maintain records, and negotiate favorable vendor pricing and contracts.
• Partner with marketing and internal stakeholders on event promotions, email campaigns, signage, presentations, collateral, and event messaging.
• Lead on-site event operations, including guest check-in, speaker coordination, staff oversight, issue resolution, and post-event reporting.

• Salary range: $70,000 to $80,000 per year.
