Business Analyst at Dauphin County, PA

You will work within a hybrid environment, bridging the gap between business policies and system operations. Your primary objective will be to recommend solutions that enable the organization to achieve its strategic goals through meticulous documentation and analysis.

• Requirements Development: Lead the creation of comprehensive Business, Functional, User (Stakeholder), and Quality-of-Service (non-functional) requirements.
• Process Modeling: Conduct facilitated workshops and develop graphic representations of complex business processes using formal notation, such as BPMN
  .
• Project Documentation: Develop Project Initiation Documents, Report Specifications, and maintain a Requirements Traceability Matrix to ensure alignment across all SDLC stages.
• Stakeholder Liaison: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify goals, define deliverables, and interpret stakeholder needs to inform product design and test case formulation.

• Experience: Minimum of 4 years of experience using formal requirements gathering methodologies and developing business, functional, and non-functional requirements.
• Traceability: Minimum of 4 years of experience developing Requirements Traceability Matrices.
• Modeling: Proven ability to create workflows using formal notation (e.g., BPMN).
• Education: A 4-year college degree is highly desired.
• Soft Skills: Exceptional organizational and technical writing skills with the ability to clearly articulate complex business processes.
