Job Description

Core

Responsibilities

Accurately write and submit test reports daily.

Assist with inspection of Heavy Civil construction.

Perform a variety of job site tests, record test data, and interpret test results.

Sample and test Cement Concrete, and other surfacing materials.

Sample and perform aggregate tests such as sieve analysis, sand equivalent, and moisture content.

Use nuclear gauge to test densities of asphalt concrete, surfacing, and earthwork.

Write and receive tickets for measurements of materials.

You’ll thrive here if you

Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook)

Valid Driver's License and an acceptable driving record.

Ability to lift up to 50 pounds on occasion and navigate uneven construction sites.

Ability to obtain WAQTC and ACI Certification for in-place density and concrete field testing within 3 months of hire.

Knowledge of materials testing and construction practices.

Ability to travel for Western Washington per diem projects.

Flexibility to adjust work schedule to coincide with contractor activities including the ability to travel as needed, work nights, weekends, holidays, and perform emergency callouts/standby.
