This role works closely with sales, project managers, and technical teams to ensure projects are completed accurately, on time, and in compliance with jurisdictional requirements. While you will support all survey types, this position has an increased focus on land use projects, jurisdiction codes, and plan/ map interpretation.
ProjectCoordination Responsibilities
- Review, analyze, and interpret site plans for boundary, topographic, construction, and land use projects, ensuring specifications are understood and confirmed with the client.
- Complete redline markups on site plans, land use documents, construction drawings, and survey data, ensuring revisions are accurate and aligned with project needs.
- Coordinate with field crews to confirm proper execution of on-site data collection for all project types.
- Review survey results for accuracy, completeness, and adherence to local regulations, zoning codes, and jurisdiction requirements.
- Manage project timelines and deliverables, ensuring survey data, reports, and land use documents are delivered as scheduled.
- Work with internal teams to resolve discrepancies and update plans and documents as needed.
- Ensure all deliverables meet industry standards and comply with municipal, zoning, and construction requirements.
- Track project milestones and provide clear updates to clients throughout the process.
- Respond to customer inquiries by phone, email, and SMS related to all surveying services, with added attention to land use needs and jurisdiction questions.
- Submit new lead requests and capture project details accurately.
- Direct inbound calls to the appropriate sales team members.
- Communicate project timelines, survey requirements, jurisdiction feedback, and plan revisions.
- Provide regular status updates and assist clients with revisions, corrections, and clarification requests.
- Proactively communicate delays or changes that may affect project timelines.
- Meticulous attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong conflict resolution and de‑escalation skills, ensuring positive customer interactions in challenging situations.
- Exceptional customer service skills with a passion for building relationships and exceeding expectations.
- Proficiency in MS Office and familiarity with tools like AutoCAD or Bluebeam is a plus.
- Strong understanding of land surveying principles including boundary, topographic, construction, and land use requirements.
- Ability to read and mark up site plans, land use documents, and maps with accuracy.
- Familiarity with zoning codes, municipal requirements, and land use submittal processes.
- A motivated and customer‑focused coordinator with strong organizational skills.
- Someone comfortable supporting a variety of survey project types but interested in increased involvement in land use work.
- A collaborative team member with strong initiative and attention to detail.
- A professional with a positive approach who can manage deadlines and support both clients and technical teams.
If you are organized, proactive, and ready to support a mix of construction, boundary, topographic, and land use projects with a special emphasis on land use, we encourage you to apply.
