Job Description Summary
As a Superintendent working for Taylor Morrison you will provide leadership in your assigned community(ies) and will be responsible for managing the homebuilding construction process for assigned homes to ensure timely completion while meeting financial, quality, safety and customer satisfaction goals.
Responsibilities- Responsible for leading the overall homebuilding process
- Foster a team environment
- Build and maintain positive subcontractor relations
- Continually evaluate quality, safety, scheduling and cost control measures and enforce the site safety
- May provide mentoring of team members
- Manage the construction schedule and ensure that the highest quality product is delivered on time and within budget
- Develop and implement recovery strategies to maintain schedule, authorize payment for materials received and work completed
- Provide clear answers to buyers about how the home is built and ensure the overall condition of the home at move‑in is satisfactory
- Provide outstanding level of customer service at all times
- Ensure that the worksite is clean, orderly and visually appealing to customers during construction
- Manage the post‑close warranty process: assess requests, determine action, schedule trades, and manage quality assurance

- High School Diploma/GED with 1+ years of construction experience (preferably with a production builder) or completion of the assigned TM360 Learning curriculum
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction or a related field preferred
- Demonstrated knowledge of new home construction processes, scheduling and cost control procedures
- Ability to read, understand and interpret construction documents, drawings, specifications, scopes of work and project schedules, with knowledge of all phases of new home construction
- Proficient in all Microsoft Office applications and generally computer savvy
- Strong oral and written communication skills and strong organizational skills
- Customer‑service oriented and believes the customer is the number one priority
- Flexible and able to prioritize tasks to meet deadlines
- Willing to perform other duties as assigned
- Report to the Division/Corporate Office/Community daily and adhere to schedule
- Access, input and retrieve information from a computer and/or electronic device
- Conduct face‑to‑face conversations with customers, co‑workers and higher level managers
- Sit or stand for long periods and move around the work environment as needed
- Operate a motor vehicle if applicable
- Comply with company policies and procedures
- Remain stationary up to 50% of the time
- Frequently lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally up to 25 pounds
FLSA Status:
Exempt
Salary Range: $70,000–$101,510
Bonus or Commission Eligible:
Up to 20%
Construction Auto Allowance: $6,000 yearly
Cell Allowance: N/A
