Position Overview
Seeking a reliable, detail‑oriented Studio Operations & Production Assistant to support day‑to‑day studio operations and assist with video production. This is a hybrid role combining administrative coordination with hands‑on exposure to recording and post‑production.
This role is ideal for someone highly organized who also has a genuine interest in video editing, content creation, and podcast production.
Key Responsibilities Administrative & Operations- Manage studio scheduling and calendar coordination.
- Prepare and send invoices; track payments.
- Maintain client records and booking documentation.
- Coordinate confirmations, reminders, and follow‑ups.
- Support client onboarding and file organization.
- Maintain basic studio supplies and organization.
- Assist with workflow tracking (sessions, bundles, retainers).
- Assist during recording sessions (camera setup, mic placement, lighting checks).
- Monitor basic audio/video during sessions.
- Offload and organize footage after sessions.
- Support rough cuts and basic editing tasks.
- Assist with exporting, file delivery, and uploads.
- Help prepare short‑form clips and social content.
- Support set resets and light studio maintenance.
- Highly organized with strong attention to detail.
- Comfortable managing multiple tasks and deadlines.
- Professional communication skills (email and in‑person).
- Interest in video production and editing.
- Familiarity with editing software (Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve, or similar) preferred.
- Basic understanding of cameras, lighting, and audio equipment preferred.
- Tech‑comfortable and quick to learn new systems.
- Self‑starter who takes ownership of tasks.
- Calm under pressure during live recordings.
- Systems‑oriented thinker.
- Willing to learn and grow within a production environment.
- Reliable and punctual.
This role offers hands‑on exposure to real client productions, podcast workflows, and studio operations. There is potential for increased responsibility in editing, client management, and production leadership over time.
