Project OverviewWe are embarking on an ambitious documentary project. This temporary position is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Film Producer who is passionate about storytelling and creating impactful documentary content.
Responsibilities- Oversee the production of the documentary from conception through to completion.
- Work closely with the Director to ensure the vision and objectives of the documentary are achieved.
- Manage the project budget, ensuring efficient allocation of resources.
- Coordinate and supervise the work of the film crew and other production staff.
- Secure locations, permits, and equipment necessary for the production.
- Negotiate contracts with talent, crew, and vendors.
- Manage the production schedule, ensuring deadlines are met.
- Oversee post-production activities to ensure a high-quality final product.
- Coordinate with marketing and distribution teams to maximize the documentary’s reach and impact.
- Proven experience as a Film Producer, with specific experience in documentary production preferred.
- Strong understanding of the filmmaking process, including pre-production, production, and post-production stages.
- Excellent organizational and project management skills.
- Ability to work under tight deadlines and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Strong communication and negotiation skills.
- A keen eye for detail and a deep passion for documentary storytelling.
- Bachelor’s degree in Film Studies, Production, or a related field is preferred.
