Internship Overview

TMTNSBRO’s Film and Media division is offering an exciting internship opportunity for aspiring film directors. This position provides hands‑on experience in film production, direction, and post‑production under the guidance of experienced directors and production staff. The internship is designed to offer real‑world exposure to the film and entertainment industry, nurturing creativity and technical skills.

Responsibilities
  • Assist in the planning, scheduling, and execution of film shoots.
  • Work closely with the Director to understand scripting, scene planning, and shot composition.
  • Assist in the direction of actors and crew on set.
  • Participate in the editing process and learn about different editing techniques and software.
  • Contribute to creative discussions and brainstorming sessions.
  • Help manage and maintain production equipment and materials.
  • Attend and participate in production meetings and workshops.
  • Perform administrative duties as required to support the film production process.
Learning Objectives
  • Gain firsthand experience in film direction and production.
  • Develop an understanding of the creative and technical processes in filmmaking.
  • Enhance skills in teamwork, communication, and problem‑solving within a film production environment.
  • Build a professional network within the film and media industry.
Requirements
  • Currently enrolled in or a recent graduate of a film school or a related field.
  • A strong passion for film and a desire to learn about film direction.
  • Basic knowledge of film production, including camera operation, sound, and lighting is preferred.
  • Ability to work well in a team and adapt to dynamic situations.
  • Creative thinker with attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
