We are seeking a Revit Designer with architectural experience to support the design, coordination, and lifecycle management of modular, large-scale commercial projects. This role combines hands-on Revit production with cross-functional coordination, design review facilitation, and stakeholder management across an approximately 14-month project lifecycle. You will work on highly visible fulfillment center and similar operational facility projects, owning meaningful portions of the layout and design process from early concept through execution.

Responsibilities

  • Provide drafting support for composite designs, revisions, and modular components using Revit.
  • Create and modify module drawings and floor plans based on redlines and approved design direction.
  • Review SIM tickets to understand design requirements, scope, and constraints.
  • Identify missing or unclear information in design inputs and provide clear feedback to Change Management to ensure complete and accurate direction.
  • Lead and participate in design review calls, capturing and distributing meeting minutes, decisions, and action items.
  • Coordinate architectural and engineering design inputs to maintain alignment across disciplines throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Attend regular team and project meetings to support design progress, resolve issues, and maintain schedule alignment.
  • Manage stakeholder expectations related to design scope, schedule, and deliverables in partnership with project leadership.
  • Support project execution through the full design lifecycle, tracking design progress and ensuring milestones are met in line with project timelines.
  • Obtain and document project specifics related to site selection, transaction management, and early planning activities.
  • Research and compile site-specific information, including surveys, existing drawings, site visits, and site constraints.
  • Coordinate architectural and engineering specifications, standards, and internal requirements for each project.
  • Support the development of initial architectural design packages and permit submittals as required.
  • Develop supporting documents for lease execution, including site plans, work letters, schedules, and phasing plans.
  • Assist with preliminary construction schedules, phasing plans, and capital planning documentation.
  • Support due diligence efforts and utility coordination prior to construction handoff.
  • Prepare complete and accurate documentation for construction handoff, including drawings, permits, key contacts, schedules, and capital request details.
  • Maintain organized repositories for all pre-construction and design work products by site, ensuring information is current and accessible.
  • Work on multiple large commercial projects simultaneously, ensuring consistent quality and adherence to standards across all deliverables.

Essential Skills

  • Proficiency in Revit for architectural design, floor plan layout development, and construction documentation.
  • Experience in architectural design and drafting for large-scale or operational facilities such as fulfillment centers, warehouses, or industrial buildings.
  • Ability to translate functional and operational requirements into clear, buildable floor plans and modular layouts.
  • Familiarity with iterative design workflows, including responding to redlines and coordinating updates across architecture, engineering, and project teams.
  • Experience working with multiple stakeholders and disciplines to align design scope, schedule, and deliverables.
  • Strong skills in layout design, floor plan development, and detailed drafting for commercial projects.
  • Ability to manage and track design tasks across an extended project lifecycle, supporting milestones and deadlines.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • Working knowledge of AutoCAD to support design coordination and integration with legacy drawings.
  • Experience supporting composite designs, modular components, and multi-phase project execution.
  • Experience in large commercial project work, including managing priorities across multiple projects at once.
  • Experience participating in or leading design review meetings and documenting outcomes, decisions, and action items.
  • Ability to research and synthesize site-specific information such as surveys, existing conditions, and site constraints.
  • Experience preparing documents for permit submittals, lease execution, and construction handoff.
  • Strong organizational skills to maintain structured repositories of pre-construction and design documentation by site.

Work Environment

You may work remotely (must be in Pacific Time Zone) or on site at a Bellevue, WA or Tempe, AZ office location. The role involves close collaboration with architecture, engineering, and project teams, primarily using Revit and AutoCAD within a digital design environment.
