Architect III | Bellevue, WA Position Overview

  • Flexible

    Schedule:

    This position offers a flexible schedule of Monday through Friday, with start times between 6-9am and end times between 3-6pm, depending on your start time (a full 8-hour day must be worked). Corporate office hours are Monday through Friday, 7am to 4pm
    - Flexibility to work additional hours may be required to meet company/project needs.
  • On-Site Requirement: This position requires physical presence at our corporate office during office hours.
  • Compensation Package–
    • $110,000 - $130,000 / year
    • The above compensation is a range. Offers are made based upon a candidate’s experience and the geographical location of this position.

What We’re Looking For
  • A minimum of 10+ years’ of professional experience in architectural design.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in designing large-scale multifamily projects.
  • Bachelor or master’s degree of Architecture or related field.
  • Licensed architect in one of the 50 states. The company will provide financial support for obtaining reciprocity in Washington.
  • A minimum of 5 years of professional years in Revit is required.
  • Strong proficiency in relevant architectural software such as AutoCAD, Revit, Enscape, or similar tools.
  • In-depth knowledge of building codes, zoning regulations, and industry standards related to multifamily design.
  • Understanding of sustainable design principles and a commitment to creating environmentally responsible projects.
  • Ability to lead project design with minimal oversight.
  • Demonstrates exceptional attention to detail and organizational abilities.
  • Proficient in effective communication and teamwork.
  • Maintains a positive outlook and embraces a collaborative team approach.
  • Shows responsibility and takes pride in their work.
  • Fluent in English, with strong reading, speaking, and writing skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Word, and Outlook.
Your Role Operational Tasks
  • Address zoning code issues, ensuring compliance and clarity on ambiguous areas.
  • Contribute creative ideas and details to the team.
  • Prepare and present design concepts to the project team.
  • Produce high-quality construction documents using Revit/BIM.
  • Manage project drawings and ensure timely completion.
  • Analyze and summarize zoning codes for the team.
  • Coordinate site plans and review grading and drainage compliance.
  • Participate in meetings, hearings, and oversee project life cycles.
Administrative Support
  • Lead assigned projects, ensuring adherence to company standards.
  • Assist with site observations and document contract conformance.
  • Review scopes of work and proposals for consultants.
  • Provide weekly progress reports and address project issues promptly.
Communication & Coordination
  • Coordinate with external consultants and serve as the primary contact.
Quality Assurance
  • Monitor consultant work, ensure ADA compliance, and review accuracy of drawings.
  • Assist in establishing new design standards and best practices.
Other Responsibilities
  • Foster teamwork and represent the company professionally.
  • Manage schedules and mentor junior team members.
