Med Star Health is seeking a highly skilled, board-certified nuclear medicine specialist to join our dedicated seven-physician nuclear medicine group. We are a specialized subset of Med Star Medical Group Radiology, a large, premier radiology practice with over 120 radiologists serving the D.C. and Maryland regions. The position is based at Washington Hospital Center, with the ability to provide remote cross-coverage to all other Med Star hospitals.

• Provide expert interpretation of a full range of general nuclear medicine and molecular imaging procedures, including PET/CT and SPECT/CT.
• Demonstrate clinical proficiency in multiple PET/CT modalities, including cardiac, neuroendocrine (NET), and PSMA imaging.
• Oversee and perform specialized therapies and diagnostic exams (theranostics) within our state‑of-the‑art facilities.
• Collaborate closely with a team of seven dedicated nuclear medicine partners and the broader radiology group to ensure clinical excellence.

• Certification:
  Board certification in nuclear medicine is required. Board eligible candidates may also apply and will be considered on a case‑by‑case basis pending thorough training program review and reference verification.
• Experience:
  
  A minimum of five years of experience is preferred. However, we will consider candidates with fewer years of experience on a case‑by‑case basis if they have had significant exposure to state‑of-the‑art imaging technologies and advanced modalities during training or previous practice.
• Licensure:
  Ability to obtain or maintain a medical license in Washington, D.C. and Maryland.
