Position: 26-27 Skagit Fisheries Education & Outreach Associate

This is an Ameri Corps/Washington Service Corps national service position. It is dependent on funding and open until filled. Skagit Fisheries Enhancement Group is restoring Skagit salmon for future generations. Pacific salmon are in decline in many of their former strongholds. This affects humans, orcas, and many other links in the food chain. By engaging community members of all ages, we raise awareness and foster a stewardship ethic.

The member will support our efforts through educational programming for 3 - 6 grade. They will coordinate volunteer work parties on weekends and spend a lot of time outdoors in often inclement weather.
