In this role, you'll play a key part in empowering students and shaping positive educational outcomes through specialized instruction and support.

What You'll Do:

• Monitor and evaluate student progress through data-driven practices
• Deliver individualized and small-group instruction aligned with student goals.
• Participate in evaluations, team meetings, and multidisciplinary planning.
• Partner with general education teachers to promote inclusive classroom strategies.
• Create, implement, and manage compliant Individualized Education Programs (IEPs).

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university.
• Completion of a recognized Special Education preparation program.
• Strong understanding of IDEA guidelines and IEP development.
• Valid Washington State Special Education Teaching Certification (P–12) or eligibility to obtain.
• Successful completion of required Washington state certification exams (e.g., WEST-E or equivalent).
