School-Based Para educator | Multiple Openings | Full-Time | 2026–2027 School Year | Bellevue WA Ampersand Therapy is hiring multiple para educators to support students during the 2026–2027 school year. Highlights
In-person, school-based openings Assignment dates: ASAP–June 2027 Assignments may include classroom, special education, resource room, or one-on-one support
Responsibilities- Assist students with classwork, learning activities, and IEP accommodations under the direction of a certified teacher
- Reinforce positive behavior strategies and help maintain a supportive classroom environment
- Supervise students during transitions, lunch, recess, and other parts of the school day
- Help prepare materials and support classroom routines
- Depending on the assignment, assist students with personal care, feeding, or mobility
- Collaborate with teachers and specialists while maintaining student confidentiality
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional district qualifications may apply
- Ability to follow teacher direction and work effectively with students and school staff
- Strong communication skills, patience, and professionalism
- Experience working with children or students with disabilities preferred
- W-2 employment
