This role will focus on development and integration of electrical and mechanical systems for our fleet of Vehicles.
Key job responsibilities:
- Lead Engineer responsible for developing and improving electro-mechanical systems across the supply chain network.
- Drive large-scale projects independently, focusing on business-critical systems and company-wide compatibility.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead technical design reviews and provide architectural feedback
- Architect complex systems using advanced engineering principles
- Coordinate between technical teams, business units, and vendors
- Manage project scope, budgets, and timelines
- Develop solutions using Lean Manufacturing principles
- Create technical documentation and business cases
- Guide engineering best practices and department technology strategies
- Evaluate and integrate vendor solutions
- Map system requirements
- Work with MHE and packaging systems
Skills:
- MS Excel, AutoCAD, Solid Works, MS Projects
- Project management and budget control
- Vendor management and contract documentation
- Cross-functional team leadership
Travel up to 20%.BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- Experience in developing functional specifications, design verification plans and functional test procedures
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS- Master's degree in electrical engineering, computer engineering, or equivalent
- Experience working with interdisciplinary teams to execute product design from concept to production
- Experience with the project management of technical projects

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $128,600/year in our lowest geographic market up to $213,600/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
