Hours:

7:30 – 3:30 or 8:00 – 4:00 Monday – Friday

Duties:

• Document control for tender packages;
• Accurately read and interpret irrigation plans, bills of quantities and other project documentation to estimate costs;
• Coordinate inputs from key supply chain vendors and subcontractors, including RFQ process and tender evaluation;
• Issue quote requests to relevant trades and suppliers;
• Preparing estimate pricing and take-offs;
• Developing a thorough understanding of tender/project requirements and outcomes; including technical specifications, budgets, safety management, quality and program;
• Assess subcontractor/supplier quotes for completeness against project scope;
• Handover to construction team on successful tenders; and
• Contribute to the preparation of tender project schedules, resource histograms and construction methodologies for submission.

• Irrigation or landscaping knowledge or experience
• Experience in an administration or estimating role
• Experience with an applicable role which included computer skills, customer service, ERP systems so they would be able to pick it up quickly
• Ability to multi-task and work in fast paced environment
• Problem solving abilities
• CAD exposure or experience would be advantageous
