) is a high-grade gold mine in Western Australia. The Bellevue mine has an estimated 10+ year mine life forecast to produce ~150,000 Au ounces in FY26.

Underground mining has occurred since late 2020 to establish multiple mining fronts that de-risks production with exploration potential expected to grow the current high-grade resource.

The Bellevue Gold Mine is located approximately 30km north of Leinster township and sits in a major gold and nickel producing district. The Company has a highly skilled management team with a track record of exploration success and development of major gold mines.

Bellevue Gold has the ambitious goal of net zero greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions for the Bellevue Gold Project by 2026. This will be underpinned by a sector-leading renewable energy power station, with a forecast 70-80% renewable energy penetration rate.

Job Description

This role is responsible for drilling, production geology and resource inputs at Bellevue Gold, including key inputs into establishing mine geology systems, drill program planning, reconciliation processes, budgeting and execution in the field. This position will ensure that the required orebody knowledge is collected and that the operation is de-risked prior to mining.

Your main duties and responsibilities will include:

  • Lead and mentor geologists and core technicians ensuring training and development of staff to meet future development needs.
  • Fulfil the role of 2IC for the Geology department onsite.
  • Supervise the monitoring of QA/QC procedures and drill hole database and maintenance of project datasets to an acceptable standard.
  • Provide information for, and contribute to mine planning. Identify and communicate risks and opportunities.
  • Interpret sampling, mapping and drilling results using appropriate software.
  • Construction of resource wireframes based on interpretation.
  • Collect, process and evaluate exploration datasets to create, rank and test new and existing targets utilising a range of geological software.
  • Interpretation of projects and geological modelling utilising geological and geochemical data.
  • Provide supervision and safety leadership to the field team (geologists, core technicians, consultants and contractors).
  • Management and supervision of surface and underground drilling programs.
  • Contractor management of drilling and geophysical companies.
  • Maintain and initiate systematic improvements of established geological production systems to enable quality data to be captured and utilised in modelling, mine reconciliation and in identifying production improvement opportunities.
  • Daily, weekly and monthly reporting as required.
  • Other duties as request by your Supervisor / Manager.
Desired Skills and Experience

Key Skills/Qualifications/

Experience:

  • Tertiary Qualification in geology
  • Extensive experience with contractor management
  • Previous Underground Mining experience in narrow vein gold systems
  • Understanding of mining operations
  • Experience in reconciliation processes and implementation
  • Understanding of Occupational Health and Safety requirements
  • Well-developed communication and literacy skills
  • Ability to work autonomously with well-developed time management skills
  • Proficient in technical writing, reporting and communicating of technical data to the relevant Government authorities and investors/shareholders as required
  • Demonstrated leadership skills; inclusive of training and retention of technical and field staff and consultants
