ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES
We are seeking a Plant Design Integration Engineer for our client in Nuclear Energy!
In this role, you will provide technical oversight and administrative design and regulatory support for the nuclear plant. You will be working with various engineering disciplines, including design, licensing, safety analysis, and PRA.
Collaborate with a diverse team to develop nuclear island plant integration deliverables with a focus on ongoing design engineering, licensing, and configuration management efforts.
Provide support for licensing, design engineering, safety analysis, and PRA.
Develop plant-level integration design deliverables, including plans, strategies, discipline design documents, and design basis documents.
ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS
6+ years of relevant experience in nuclear facility design or operation, including experience in at least one of the following areas:
Plant/systems engineering, design engineering, fire protection, operations, or reactor engineering.
Bachelor's degree in engineering or an SRO license.
Experience in a conceptual design or First of a Kind environment.
Strong working understanding of NRC regulations.
Conversant across a wide variety of engineering disciplines, programs, and processes (licensing, operations, procurement, construction, document control).
Experience working to quality standards on design activities, including ASME NQA-1 or ISO 9001.
BONUS QUALIFICATIONS
Prior interaction with NRC staff.
