Water/Wastewater Practice is seeking a Water/Wastewater Infrastructure Engineering Intern in Bellevue, WA.
The responsibility of the position is to learn and assist with fundamental engineering design and CAD drafting, and to provide high‑quality deliverables to DEA’s clients.
What You’ll DoKey Responsibilities
- Complete CAD‑based utility system map updates and other CAD drafting assignments
- Perform water and sewer infrastructure system planning and design assignments
- Research and prepare updates to project specifications
- Develop quantity take‑offs and prepare construction cost estimates
- Research and support preparation of written technical reports and planning documents
Required Qualifications
- Applicants must be in pursuit of an undergraduate degree in Civil Engineering, with at least 2+ years of completed coursework.
- Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, and Word), AutoCAD, and Bluebeam Revu skills are recommended.
- Physically able to work outside in a variety of weather conditions.
- Ability to communicate and work in a team‑oriented environment.
