Responsibilities- Draft, author, and review licensing documents for 10 CFR Part 30, 40, and 70 (e.g., Safety Analysis Report and Environmental Report)
- Coordinate with project stakeholders to prepare responses to NRC audit questions and requests for additional information
- Interface with the Licensing Team to complete licensing tasks
- Coordinate with design personnel to ensure designs and design changes meet regulatory requirements
- Prepare, review, and maintain licensing documentation in compliance with regulations and strict quality assurance standards
- Interface with technical discipline teams at Terra Power, partners, and contractors
- Review correspondence to and from regulatory agencies
- Develop licensing strategies to support project goals
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering from an accredited, four-year university or equivalent experience
- Capability and willingness to adhere to strict quality assurance standards
- Demonstrated, applicable experience in nuclear licensing, or comparable field
- 10 years plus experience with 10 CFR regulations and guidance
- 10 years plus experience with NRC licensing actions involving 10 CFR 30, 40, and 70 applications
- Self-starter with ability to manage deadlines
- Proficient in MS Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, Excel) and Adobe Professional
- Strong communication skills
- High degree of trust and integrity, with respect and a desire to foster teamwork
- Actual position starting level and title will be determined based on assessment of qualifications

Salary Range 9: $99,041 - $148,561
Salary Range 10: $113,605 - $170,408
Typically, our employee salaries are within .90 – 1.0 of the mid-point of the posted salary bands. This range is specific to Washington State.
