Sr CAD Technician, Bridges and Structures

We are seeking a Senior CAD Technician to work on bridges, tunnels, retaining walls, and other transportation structures in Seattle, WA.

• Produce detailed CADD drawings, layouts, and graphics for a variety of transportation structures including reinforced concrete, pre-stressed concrete, and steel designs.
• Translate engineering markups into polished construction documents, maintaining precision and consistency.
• Use state‑of‑the‑art software such as AutoCAD, Micro Station, Power InRoads, Civil3D and Open Roads Designer.
• Support design tasks under the direction of licensed engineers using industry standards such as AASHTO.
• Maintain structured drawing files, adhere to company drafting standards, and support project‑specific standards as needed.
• Collaborate through file‑sharing systems like Project Wise and participate in quality assurance reviews.
• Track quantities, update contract drawings, and contribute to project success within scope, budget, and schedule.

• 10+ years of drafting experience with a focus on bridge or structural engineering projects.
• Associate of Applied Science in Civil Drafting, Civil Engineering Technology, or related field.
• Proficiency in Power InRoads, Micro Station/Open Roads, and/or AutoCAD/Civil 3D.

• Experience with transportation projects and/or Washington State Department of Transportation, local city and county projects.
• Strong communication skills and a passion for precision.
