Innovation and Design Engineer, World Wide Design Engineering (WWDE)

Are you an innovative engineer that wants to design the next generation of world‑class fulfillment centers and logistics systems across the globe? • Partner with internal and external teams to design high‑quality, cost‑effective solutions for fulfillment and distribution systems.
• Own multiple projects simultaneously, from concept realization through design approval.
• Serve as the primary point of technical contact for suppliers on each project.
• Hand‑off approved designs to Ops Engineering, then engage to ensure successful installation, commissioning and launch.
• Lead projects across green‑fields, brown‑fields, retrofits, highly automated fulfillment centers, cross‑dock facilities and transportation centers, using both template‑based and design‑from‑scratch approaches.
• Work in a fast‑paced, often ambiguous environment with hundreds of projects each year, delivering high‑impact, high‑visibility outcomes.

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Industrial or Civil Engineering, or 2+ years of Amazon experience.

• Master’s degree or equivalent in Engineering, Technology, Science, Operations Research, Robotics, Mathematics or related fields.
• Associate’s degree or above with experience working for Amazon or any Amazon subsidiary or affiliate.

Annual salary range: $80,200 – $137,100 (USA, WA, Bellevue).
