In this role you will own multiple projects from concept to design approval, serve as the primary technical point of contact for suppliers, and hand off completed designs to our Ops Engineering team for installation, commissioning, and launch. Your projects may involve green‑field sites, brown‑field upgrades, retrofits, and highly automated fulfillment centers, cross‑dock facilities, and transportation centers.
Responsibilities- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to define system requirements and design solutions for fulfillment and distribution systems.
- Lead design projects, ensuring they meet performance, cost, safety, and schedule objectives.
- Act as the primary technical liaison with suppliers throughout the design cycle.
- Document design decisions, maintain technical records, and support approval processes.
- Support Ops Engineering during installation and commissioning to guarantee successful deployment.
- Continuously improve design processes and incorporate new technologies, such as automated material‑handling equipment, packaging technologies, and robotics.

- 5+ years of experience in Design/Innovation, research & development, manufacturing, process, industrial engineering, or a related field.
- Demonstrated management of engineering design projects.
- Master’s degree in Engineering (any domain) or a related field.
- Knowledge of system architecture, optimization, system dynamics, system analysis, statistical analysis, reliability analysis, and decision‑making.
- Experience with complex automated material‑handling equipment, packaging technologies, and high‑speed manufacturing systems.
- Experience with design‑in‑safety and process design based on Lean principles.

Base salary range: $99,300.00 – $ USD annually (USA, WA, Bellevue). Final compensation will be determined based on experience, qualifications, and location, and may include sign‑on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs).
