Job Overview
Trane Technologies is looking for an Equipment Estimator II to join our team in Bellevue, WA. The role involves working closely with customers, account managers, project managers, technicians, and suppliers to prepare accurate equipment cost estimates and support sales and project execution.
Responsibilities- Review plans and specifications to develop detailed cost estimates for equipment, subcontractors, non-Trane purchased items, labor, and other construction-related activities.
- Provide estimating support to the equipment sales team and assist in the preparation of proposals.
- Offer expertise in the selection, pricing, and integration of equipment, controls, and services for each project.
- Validate equipment selection and prepare submittals.
- Collaborate with Account Managers, Project Managers, subcontractors, suppliers, and customers to determine project needs and develop solutions.
- Coordinate pricing, develop selling strategies, and contribute to project fulfillment schedules.
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, engineering technology, business management, or a related field preferred.
- 3–5 years of experience in estimating, project management, HVAC, or construction management (or equivalent combination of education and experience).
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work independently as well as in a team.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and familiarity with HVAC systems and/or temperature controls preferred.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and meet tight deadlines in a high-paced environment.
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record (see specific requirements).
- Annual base salary range: $84,233.33–$, paid as a salary.
