PCBA Manufacturing Test Engineer

As a PCBA Manufacturing Test Engineer, you will be responsible for defining and implementing manufacturing and test processes for Satellite PCBA sub-systems. You will be a key member of the development team and will be the main interface between internal engineering and operations teams as well as our manufacturing partners.
Key job responsibilities:
- Develop test strategy, implement and optimize test setup/processes at contract manufacturing sites including identification, specification, design and qualification of test fixtures, test equipment and diagnostic software.
- Work with the design and manufacturing teams to identify and resolve manufacturing challenges by verifying compliance with DFM and DFT principles.
- Identify and report product failures to manufacturing and quality teams.
- Train operators on test processes and support recurring certification programs.
- Record, analyze, and report process metrics to predict and eliminate process failures.
- Support PCBA debug and root-cause failure analysis at contract manufacturing sites.
- Provide feedback to engineering on test coverage, fault isolation capability, and PCBA failure trends for continuous improvement efforts.
- Manage configuration changes and manage configuration control throughout the process.
