Civil Project Engineer | Bellevue, WA (Hybrid/Remote)

A well-established, multi-disciplinary engineering and construction firm with a national footprint is expanding its civil engineering team across Washington State. With over two decades in the industry and offices throughout North America, the firm delivers high-quality site development and infrastructure work across a wide range of markets including commercial, residential, industrial, and emerging sectors.
The Role
A project-facing civil engineering role with real ownership across planning, design, and construction phases. You'll work with minimal supervision, lead coordination across internal teams and agencies, and contribute to a broad portfolio of site development projects.
Responsibilities
- Prepare construction plans, feasibility reports, cost estimates, drainage reports, and project documents
- Develop grading plans, road design, profiles, and details using AutoCAD Civil 3D
- Perform detailed calculations for stormwater facilities, utility systems, and roadway improvements
- Coordinate with review agencies, clients, and sub-consultants for permitting
- Prepare site development plans for residential, commercial, industrial, and mixed-use projects
- Manage project timelines, budgets, billing reports, and contracts
- Collaborate with drafters, designers, and administrative staff to keep projects on track
Required Qualifications
- PE license required (ability to obtain additional state licensure as needed)
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field (or equivalent)
- 4+ years of civil engineering experience within an engineering or construction firm
- 4+ years of site development design experience
- Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D including grading tools, alignments, profiles, corridors, and surfaces
- Strong project management and client relationship skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Familiarity with design standards and permitting across Washington jurisdictions
- Experience with large-scale master planned communities or business parks
- Comfortable serving as both a hands-on contributor and a technical lead
Compensation
- $85,000 to $135,000 depending on experience, plus performance-based bonus
