ReactorCore Component Delivery Engineer
The Component Delivery Engineer serves as the programmatic owner for assigned reactor core components throughout their lifecycle. This role bridges engineering, procurement, manufacturing, quality, suppliers, and project management to ensure complex components progress from design through fabrication, testing, delivery, and commissioning.
The ideal candidate combines strong engineering fundamentals with exceptional program execution skills. They are comfortable integrating cross-functional teams, driving technical decisions, managing risk, and maintaining visibility into schedule, cost, quality, and supplier performance.
ResponsibilitiesAs the delivery lead for assigned components, you will:
- Own end-to-end delivery of assigned reactor core components from design release through manufacturing, inspection, shipment, and site delivery.
- Serve as the primary interface between Engineering, Supply Chain, Manufacturing, Quality Assurance, and PMO.
- Contribute to the development and maintance of integrated execution plans, schedules, milestones, and risk registers for assigned components.
- Coordinate engineering deliverables required to support procurement, fabrication, inspections, testing, and acceptance.
- Drive issue resolution by facilitating cross-functional decision making and ensuring timely closure of open actions.
- Monitor supplier progress in coordination with Supply Chain through regular technical reviews, manufacturing readiness assessments, production meetings, and factory visits.
- Track manufacturing performance, identify schedule risks, and develop recovery plans in collaboration with suppliers and internal stakeholders.
- Ensure component fabrication complies with applicable design requirements, codes, specifications, and quality requirements.
- Lead readiness reviews and coordinate stakeholder alignment at key project milestones.
