- -Lead the design of HVAC and plumbing systems for commercial construction projects.
- -Serve as the Engineer of Record and provide Washington State PE-stamped construction documents
- -Develop mechanical concepts and Basis of Design documentation
-Prepare complete construction drawings and Division 22 & 23 specifications - -Collaborate with owners, architects, contractors, and consultants throughout every phase of a project
- -Participate in project pursuits, interviews, and proposal development to help win new work
-Provide technical guidance and mentorship to engineers, designers, and project teams - -Support Design-Build, Design-Assist, Progressive Design-Build, MCCM, and Design-Bid-Build delivery methods
- -Review drawings for quality, constructability, coordination, and code compliance
- -Provide technical support during construction including submittal reviews, RFIs, field observations, and problem-solving
- -Stay current with emerging technologies, energy codes, and industry best practices
- Required Qualifications
- -Washington State Professional Engineer (PE) License or be willing to get licensed in a short time frame
- -Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field
- -7+ years of HVAC OR plumbing design experience
- -Strong knowledge of mechanical building systems and applicable building codes
- -Experience preparing engineering calculations and stamped construction documents
- -Excellent communication and client relationship skills
