What the Role Entails

We actively promote the development of esports, work with global partners to build an open, collaborative and symbiotic industrial ecology, and create high‑quality digital life experiences for players.

• Scan and monitor global game/IP market with members of the Business Development team
• Research and analyze content and consumer industries (games, entertainment, films, drama, etc.) investment trends, with a particular focus on IP
• Provide support documentation for strategic analysis, investment review, and case studies
• Study and evaluate potential partners, game studios and IP holders, and provide support to Tencent management for business decisions

• University undergraduate or MBA student, ideally from business administration, management or finance related major
• Strong business and data analysis skills; prior consulting or strategy project experience (e.g., internship with consulting companies, well‑known game companies/Internet company strategy departments, investment banks, PE/VC) preferred
• Excellent material writing ability and execution
• Ability to take initiatives and drive to insights, owning work streams end to end
• Avid gamer and genuine passion for games, curiosity about the broader entertainment industry and willing to share your perspective
• Good interpersonal skills and teamwork spirit, resilience
• Proficient with AI tools and familiar with AI workflow automation

Location:

US-California-Los Angeles, US-California-Palo Alto, US-New York State-New York, US-Washington-Bellevue. Expected base pay range: $24.81 to $42.70 per hour. This position will be eligible for 1 hour paid sick leave for every 30 hours worked and up to 13 paid holidays throughout the calendar year. Full‑time interns are also eligible to enroll in the company‑sponsored medical plan.
