Korn Ferry has been exclusively retained to lead a confidential search for a Corporate Controller on behalf of a high-growth, private equity-backed healthcare platform operating more than 100 locations nationwide.

Our client is a national leader in their industry, combining board-certified physicians, advanced technology, and highly standardized operations to deliver consistent, repeatable outcomes at scale.

Reporting directly to the Chief Financial Officer, the Corporate Controller will own the financial backbone of the enterprise. This is a hands‑on leadership role with responsibility across close, consolidations, shared services, capital governance, cost accounting, tax coordination, treasury, and financial systems. The Controller will partner closely with executive leadership and private equity sponsors to ensure transparency, strengthen controls, and build scalable infrastructure to support the company’s next phase of growth.

Key Areas of Impact:
  • Lead monthly, quarterly, and annual close across a multi‑entity, multi‑site structure, delivering timely, GAAP‑compliant financial reporting
  • Strengthen and scale shared services across AP, revenue/AR, payroll accounting, and related functions with clear SLAs and process discipline
  • Establish capital project governance and fixed asset lifecycle management, including WIP tracking and timely capitalization
  • Design and enhance cost accounting and standard costing models to improve margin visibility and operational insight
  • Oversee GL, consolidations, intercompany accounting, and financial systems optimization to support automation and scalability
  • Partner with the CFO on treasury accounting, tax coordination, audit oversight, and investor reporting
  • Develop and mentor a high‑performing accounting organization while driving continuous improvement initiatives
Qualifications:
  • CPA required;
    Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
  • 12+ years of progressive accounting leadership experience in multi‑entity, multi‑site environments
  • Experience with in private equity‑backed, healthcare services, retail, or manufacturing models preferred
  • Deep knowledge of GAAP including revenue recognition, leases, capitalization, consolidations, and stock compensation
  • Proven ability to build scalable processes, implement systems improvements, and lead teams through change
Salary Range and Benefits Overview:

$200,000 - $250,000 + Discretionary Bonus, medical, dental, vision, 401k
