Qualifications- 3+ years of senior-level accounting experience
- Experience with complex journal entries and accruals
- Strong Excel skills
- Perform monthly balance sheet account reconciliations including deferred revenue, prepaid expenses, accrued liabilities, fixed assets, and cash accounts
- Reconcile contractor accruals for 200+ contractors, ensuring accurate tracking and proper expense recognition
- Prepare depreciation schedules and reconcile fixed asset accounts
- Analyze and reconcile data across multiple departments and studios, ensuring accurate tie-backs to general ledger
- Prepare multi-line journal entries with detailed supporting worksheets for revenue accruals, contractor accruals, and commission accruals
- Process month-end accrual entries for various operating expenses and revenue items that require judgment and analysis
- Ensure proper allocation and coding of expenses across different departments and studios
- Maintain comprehensive documentation and work papers to support all journal entry activity
- Calculate monthly commissions for 8-9 sales team members using complex, tiered commission structures
- Manage commission calculations across three distinct commission plans, with individual sales reps potentially earning from multiple plans simultaneously
- Prepare detailed commission worksheets reconciling sales data to cash and applying appropriate commission percentages
- Manually structure and calculate commissions based on cash receipts, project milestones, and varying commission tiers
- Coordinate with payroll department to ensure accurate and timely commission payments
- Manipulate and analyze large volumes of financial data from multiple source systems
- Consolidate data from various departments and studios into cohesive financial records
- Ensure data integrity and accuracy through thorough reconciliation and validation processes
- Develop and maintain Excel worksheets to support complex calculations and analyses
