The WW IPAT FP&A team is driving a strategic shift from traditional bottom-up planning to a highly automated, AI-driven methodology for forecasting Amazon's Worldwide Operations costs. Through Trend Cast, our centralized top-down forecasting model, we are automating the quantitative forecast while pioneering the use of Agentic AI workflows to automate financial narratives and actionable business insights.

• Partner closely with Data Scientists to build, maintain, and continuously evolve a robust AI Knowledge Base, translating complex WW Operations financial data points into structured context for GenAI models.
• Design, implement, and manage agentic AI workflows to autonomously generate highly accurate financial narratives, variance analyses, and actionable insights for Trendcast and other key financial documents.
• Serve as the strategic final gatekeeper for automated reporting: rigorously review AI-generated commentary, apply profound business judgment, and curate the most critical narratives for VPs and senior leadership.
• Conduct in‑depth financial analyses to validate AI outputs and driver‑based forecasts, ensuring continuous model calibration, explainability, and absolute financial precision.
• Seamlessly fuse deep corporate finance acumen with emerging GenAI capabilities, redefining traditional FP&A processes to deliver automated, scalable value across the organization.
• Collaborate effectively with tech experts, Data Scientists, and Business Intelligence Engineers (BIEs) to embed advanced forecasting tools into existing financial pipelines and reporting rhythms.

• 5+ years of tax, finance or a related analytical field experience
• 5+ years of multiple finance and accounting roles experience
• 6+ years of Accounts Receivable or Accounts Payable experience
• 6+ years of applying key financial performance indicators (KPIs) to analyses experience
• 6+ years of building financial and operational reports/data sets that inform business decision‑making experience
• 6+ years of creating process improvements with automation and analysis experience
• 6+ years of participating in continuous improvement projects to scale and improve controllership with measurable results experience
• Bachelor's degree in engineering, statistics or business, or Bachelor's degree and 5+ years of quantitative role experience (engineering, process re‑engineering, quality assurance)

• 6+ years of identifying incomplete or inaccurate data, root‑cause analysis, and implementing escalation plans experience
• 6+ years of solving complex business challenges by delivering accurate and timely financial models, analysis, and recommendations that have proven impact on business (financial savings, operational improvements, customer benefits)
• MBA or CPA
• Knowledge of SQL/ETL
• Experience with large‑scale data mining and reporting tools (SQL, MS Access, Essbase, Cognos) and other financial systems (Oracle, SAP, Lawson, JD Edwards)
• Experience delivering forecasting, budgeting, and variance analysis, and interpreting data results

The base salary range for this position is USD 95,400. annually. Your Amazon package may include sign‑on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
