About the Company

Named one of Fast Company’s Most Innovative Companies and to the CNBC Disruptor 50, Armada’s solutions are deployed in over 60 countries globally for organizations ranging from energy to defense.
About the RoleThis is not a traditional Investor Relations role. We are looking for a financing operator who can run complex growth‑stage capital raises end‑to‑end, build institutional‑grade financial narratives, and operate credibly with sophisticated investors across infrastructure, AI, defense, and sovereign capital markets.
You will work directly with the COO and executive leadership team as the internal lead for financing, strategic finance initiatives, and investor engagement. When a financing process is live, you become the operational quarterback for the company.
LocationHybrid and based in either our San Francisco Presidio office or our Bellevue, Washington office.
Main Responsibilities- Lead equity and strategic financing processes end‑to‑end.
- Own investor diligence, data rooms, timelines, and financing workflows.
- Coordinate cross‑functional execution across finance, legal, tax, operations, and technical teams.
- Manage investors, bankers, counsel, and external advisors throughout live processes.
- Maintain momentum across multiple stakeholders and reduce executive process overhead.
- Build and maintain operating models, forecasts, and scenario analyses.
- Understand and articulate infrastructure economics including GPU utilization, capex structures, deployment costs, and margin scaling.
- Support fundraising, valuation, liquidity planning, and long‑range capital strategy.
- Defend financial assumptions and operating metrics with institutional‑grade rigor.
- Translate Armada’s business into a compelling institutional investment thesis.
- Synthesize AI infrastructure, sovereign AI, edge compute, ruggedized deployments, and software orchestration into investor‑ready materials.
- Tailor messaging for infrastructure funds, sovereign investors, crossover funds, strategics, and family offices.
- Develop crisp decks, memos, FAQs, and investor updates that anticipate hard questions.
- Engage directly with sophisticated investors and strategic stakeholders.
- Lead financing and diligence discussions independently when needed.
- Present financial and operational insights clearly under pressure.
- Operate as a trusted strategic partner to the COO and executive leadership team.
- Bring a high‑ownership, low‑ego mentality—no “IR‑ish” polish, just strong judgment and execution.
- 5+ years of experience across investment banking, strategic finance, corporate development, growth equity, or related fields.
- Prior experience at a top‑tier investment bank, private equity / growth equity firm, or high‑growth technology company.
- Strong financial modeling, valuation, and analytical capabilities.
- Experience supporting or executing growth‑stage financing transactions.
- Ability to understand and communicate complex infrastructure and technology business models.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- High degree of ownership, operational rigor, and attention to detail.
- Comfortable operating in fast‑moving, ambiguous environments.
- Prior experience at a relevant AI infrastructure or high‑growth infrastructure business.
- Experience in AI infrastructure, cloud infrastructure, defense technology, data centers, compute platforms, or adjacent sectors.
- Exposure to sovereign investors, infrastructure funds, or late‑stage crossover financings.
- MBA, CFA, or advanced finance/accounting background is a plus.
- Experience leading M&A processes and cross‑border transactions.
